First off—thank you. For the nice words about the new site, and for your patience even when I know I haven't given you much reason this week, with markets doing their thing.
So I'll cut the fluff.
The short version: The new website looks great. I'll give Alexei that. But behind the scenes, the tools I need to actually get your reports out and manage subscriptions? Not quite there yet. That's on us.
We aimed to have everything wrapped by June 30. It's June 23, and we're close—but not fully across the line. The daily Navigator, Mid-Day, and Playbook reports aren't going out automatically like they should be. And with markets turning south, I know a lot of you are wondering why you're not hearing that from me.
Honestly? You're right to wonder.
Here's what I'm doing about it:
I'm going old-school. Starting today, I'm manually putting together the reports for posting and emailing. It's a lot of clerical work on my end, and I swore I'd never go back to doing it all by hand—but you paid for insight, and I'd rather lose sleep than lose anybody's trust.
Portfolios will restart from scratch once I've got the admin tools to do them right. In the meantime, I'll get you what matters most: the daily reads on what's happening in the markets.
What I need from you:
Just a little more runway. I know I'm asking a lot, and I don't take that lightly. If you're having trouble accessing anything, just send me an email—I'll handle it personally.
This is obviously not a polished PR statement. This is me, telling you straight: I hit a snag, I'm frustrated, but I'm in the trenches with you.
